龍欽巴尊者,西藏最偉大的智者和聖哲。尊者系統整理了寧瑪派的教法,是大圓滿教法的集大成者和厘定者。 

本尊龍欽巴尊者像全跏趺端坐於蓮花臺坐上,臉龐豐腴飽滿,雙目冥閉,直鼻垂耳,俊美安然,頭戴桃形班智達帽,左右手放置膝蓋上結心性休息印,尊者左右各豎立一株蓮花。造像雕刻法度嚴謹,內含尊貴之氣。

藏傳佛教寧瑪派的集大成者龍欽巴尊者對寧瑪派以大圓滿法為核心思想的教法及其倫理思想進行了全面而系統的修訂,整理,從「覺性」、「平等」、「修持」等幾個方面構建了自己獨具特色的宗教倫理思想體系,不僅為寧瑪派佛教義理提供了強有力的理論支持,促進了寧瑪派宗教倫理思想的進壹步拓展,更為藏族傳統社會倫理思想的豐富和發展提供了新鮮成分。

Longchen Rabjam is the greatest sage in Tibet. The ayusmat system summarizes the teachings of the Nyingma School and it is the epitome and definer of the doctrine of Dzogchen (great perfection).
The sitting Longchen Rabjam is in full-lotus posture on the lotus pedestal. The handsome and peaceful master features a well-fleshed face, closed eyes in meditation, a straight nose and big earlobes, wearing a peach-shaped hat for panditas (Buddhist scholars), with both hands on knees in the mudra of unwinding in ultimate mind, and a lotus besides each shoulder. The elaborately engraved sculpture manifests a sense of extraordinary dignity.
As the epitome of Tibetan Buddhism’s Nyingma School, Longchen Rabjam has made systemic revisions and summarization of the core teachings and ethical thoughts of the school, especially the doctrine of great perfection, and established his unique ideological system of religious ethics from several perspectives such as revelation, equality and practice. His system has not only provided strong theoretical support for the Nyingma School and promoted its further development, but also contributed a refreshing part for the enrichment and development of traditional Tibetan ethical thoughts.
