藏傳佛教修法體系中，空行母修法與上師修法、本尊修法並稱為密宗三根本。金剛瑜伽母是無上瑜伽秘法修行的女性本尊，代表事業根本，能夠幫助修行者成就樂空事業。在藏傳佛教繁多龐雜的空行母神靈體系中，金剛瑜伽母是其中最為重要、倍受各教派尊崇的一位女性空行母。

本尊蔣家班造空行母像頭束高發髻，佩戴五骷髏冠。面如鵝卵，三目睜視，齜牙卷舌，呈大忿怒形象。軀體裸露，豐乳細腰，曲線曼妙玲瓏。身姿婀娜，右左足彎曲踩地，呈舞蹈姿勢站立，富有動感。造像人物比例合乎法度，刻畫細膩，看似不穩定的姿態，卻通過幾次身體扭轉，形成了一種動態的穩定，展現了金剛瑜伽母的護持與調伏，內在的宗教氣韻勃然而出，使觀者頓生膜拜之情。

In the Tibetan Buddhist cultivation system, the methodologies adopted by dakinis, gurus and yidams are referred to as the three fundamental methods of the Esoteric Buddhism. Vajrayogini is a female yidam who practices the Anuttarayoga Tantra (unexcelled Yoga Tantra). She symbolizes the foundation of Buddhist attainment, and can help Buddhist practitioners accomplish the union of happiness. Among the various complicated Buddhist systems adopted by dakinis, Vajrayogini is the most important and well-respected female dakini.
This sculpture by Jiangjiaban shows a furious Vajrayogini wearing a five-skull crown, featuring a high bun, a goose-egg-shaped face, three wide-open eyes, prominent teeth and a rolled tongue. With plump breast and a slender waist, her uncovered body is the perfect presentation of her graceful and exquisite curves. She stands elegantly with both knees bent, as dynamic as a dancer ready for her show. The sculpture is well-proportioned and detailedly engraved. By twisting her body, she turns her seemingly unsteady posture into a dynamic stability, demonstrating the capacity of Vajrayogini for protection and adjustment. Due to her intrinsic Buddhist spirit, the viewers will spontaneously have a sense of admiration.
